Jae in Avatar: Seven Havens
Information checked October 12, 2026.
Jae is an Airbender and one of Pavi's allies in Avatar: Seven Havens. He serves as her mentor and friend, with Major Curda providing his voice. Paramount+'s character introduction places him among the companions involved in Pavi's new life as the Avatar.
What is Jae's role?
Jae's relationship with Pavi combines guidance with friendship. Those are the two roles used in the official introduction, and they explain why he belongs in the central character group.
Pavi enters a world where her Avatar identity brings danger, while her own origins remain a mystery. Within that premise, a trusted companion matters alongside bending ability. Jae provides a personal connection in an adventure shaped by suspicion of the Avatar and threats to the Seven Havens.
Jae's bending and voice actor
Jae is an Airbender. His voice actor is Major Curda, as listed in the official main cast announcement.
Jae is also distinct from Karthik, another Airbender introduced in the official overview. Karthik is voiced by Akshay Khanna and is described there as a master Airbender. Our characters and cast guide collects the announced roles in one place.
